How Do I Assign Employees to a Permit?
To assign employees to Permits follow these simple steps:
To assign an Employee to an E-Permit:
- On the left column, go to ‘E-Permits’.
- Click on the e-permit you want to add an employee to.
- Select the Employee Roles from the dropdown options (you can select multiple).
- Select the employee from the dropdown options.
- Click ‘Save Changes.
- The employee will now be added to the e-permit.
However, to assign employees to a permit they must be assigned to the same location and department as the permit.
They also must be fully compliant in the Location or Project of the permit.
To assign employees to locations:
- On the left column, go to 'People'.
- Click on the employee you want to allocate/deallocate.
- Scroll down to 'Locations'.
- Click ‘+Allocate/Deallocate Locations’.
- Two sections will show ‘Select to Add’ and ‘Select to Remove’ with a list of Locations.
- Tick the box(es) you wish to add/remove.
- You also have the option to select all locations, click on the blue tick at the top of the page.
- To deselect all locations, click on the red ‘x’ at the top of the page.
- Click the arrow button.
- The employee will now be assigned to the locations you have selected.
To assign employees to projects/departments:
- On the left column, go to 'People'.
- Click on the employee you want to allocate/deallocate.
- Scroll down to 'Projects/Departments'.
- Click ‘+Allocate/Deallocate Project/Department'’.
- Two sections will show ‘Select to Add’ and ‘Select to Remove’ with a list of Projects or Departments.
- Tick the box(es) you wish to add/remove.
- You also have the option to select all Projects/Departments, click on the blue tick at the top of the page.
- To deselect all locations, click on the red ‘x’ at the top of the page.
- Click the arrow button.
- The employee will now be assigned to the project or department you have selected.
If an employee has been assigned a Role, they must also be fully compliant with the requirements of the Role they have been assigned.
